Just have a track that has a sprinkler system so every race is in monsoon conditions?
They could even go all out and have a snow race.

Not every Tilke track is a dud, Sepang, Istanbul, and Circuit of the Americas are all good.

Circuit of the Americas is just a bizarre frankenstein circuit made up of copied corners from every other track, only not as good.

Yes it copies good corners from other tracks but I think calling it a 'bizarre Frankenstein' is a bit of a lazy criticism. There's only so many ways you can bend a piece of tarmac and the full layout is quite distinct despite the 'copied' corners; it has good flow, the drivers enjoy it, and it tends to produce good races.

Yeah he has a few good ones under his belt, more often than not they’re not usually great to drive or race at though.

Yeh a lot of his tracks are very dull and a few are real stinkers. All in all I guess you could say he doesn't have a good track record.

While we're on the subject, does anyone remember when the use of onboard cameras around 2000-03 (approx) were massively restricted for a time?

Bernie set up a fledgling digital TV service at the time, which was an expensive subscription model only available to a few select countries. This meant that the basic free to air feed were limited to just 1 or 2 on board cameras per race, which really affected the overall quality of the coverage. It was an early version of the two tier system of coverage that we now have today.

Yep i remember those days well, thats why the 2002 US GP was a big deal when Bernie let all broadcasters use the digital feed that weekend. I remember during the race Brundle making a comment about the new camera angles that weekend.

this was a great race

Albon's wrecked his car in FP2. Looked nasty.

Didn’t see the crash but considering he’s potentially fighting for his seat (although the little bit of live coverage I saw today seemed to hint Red Bull were favouring Albon, not sure if this is because he’s their driver or not though), the last thing he needs is a big crash :dread:

I'd like to see Perez get the second RB seat next year, i like Albon, but being Max's teammate is really doing no favours for his career and he'd be better off honing his skills in a different team (it's certainly helped Gasly).

Brundle's gridwalk from that event is the stuff of legend...
