I'd suspect that to be correct as Drive to survive is basically a show about Red Bull.

With that protest I really hope to whatever God's are up there that Red Bull have an unfathomably gooseberry fool race this weekend. Proper karma biting them in the ass job.

Wasn’t the last review of something like this regarding Vettel’s penalty in Canada 2019? Obviously they didn’t overturn that decision.

I reckon here they probably want a grid penalty for Hamilton, at a guess because they know they are strawberry floated on engines now and can't use their version of party mode any time soon. Maybe.

I've never known a case of a penalty being served in tbe race and then increased after the fact. If that happened, it would be bloody stupid and we would be back to the bad old days of race results being "provisional" for weeks after.

A line needs to be drawn under it. It was a racing incident and the FIA need to stamp this crap out now.

Changing the subject slightly, couldn't help but smile the other day when i walked past a kid who was wearing a Mercedes Hamilton cap, he just kept staring at me as i was sporting my Alonso Kimoa cap.

Since i bought it, i've seen folks wearing Merc caps, McLaren caps, Renault caps, and others, but i've not seen one other person anywhere wearing any Kimoa design, let alone the latest Alpine one, none at all.

It's nice to be different.

Red Bull are making themselves look even more sore losers and fools by continuing going on about it. Its embarrassing for the image of F1 a simple racing incident

I'm honestly not surprised at the antics from Red Bull to be honest. Ever since Max arrived in F1 they have been telling him he is next years champion. Hell, F1 themselves have been saying it for years. Thing is because he was fast tracked into the sport, he has less (pre f1) championships under his belt than kids like Lando Norris, which has gotta make things even more awkward at Red Bull with the release clauses they have to add to keep Super Max on board. I remember he had to have a championship capable car or he walks, now its clearly if he doesn't win this year he walks. That said if they really have thrown everything at this years car instead of next then they could well see the wonder boy go anyway. Ah well strawberry float the lot of them right now, haven't seen such a petty, spoilt and generally poisonous atmosphere in a while.

Also does Jos Verstappen actually contribute anything at all? God I long for the day Max realises that keeping him around might actually be detrimental.

I feel like there’s a bit too much anti Max sentiment in here since Silverstone, until they came together that was a couple of the most thrilling laps of racing I’ve seen in ages and based on what happened to him, Verstappen has every right to feel aggrieved.

That said I do believe it was a racing incident that Hamilton had more responsibility in causing and he was duly punished for it and definitely not a fan of penalties applied outside of races.

While I’m not a Hamilton supporter (I’m a still sore Massa 08 fan  he was bang on with his assessment that Max puts the car in places that forces the other guy to make a decision. We saw that clearly at turn 1 in Barcelona this year.

I guess the point I’m struggling to make is that Verstappen shouldn’t be vilified after being punted off into a nasty smash but it should be left behind and hopefully we get a whole race of action between the pair at the Hungaroring. It’s so refreshing to see a real match for Hamilton because he’s had it all his way for too long now and it’s great to see what he’s capable of when challenged.

I think it's mostly taking issue with Horner and Red Bull to be honest.

If it was just Max screaming about the incident I don't think anyone would mind. Drivers are allowed to be whiney bitches, makes it more fun. Team Principals should be above all that though.

Nobody is talking about Verstappen, it's Horner/Red Bull being the bellends.

Red Bull believes its new evidence on the Hamilton/Verstappen Silverstone #F1 clash will put the incident 'in a slightly different light'.

I hope Red Bull are absolutely sure they want to go down that road, 'a slightly different light' does mean changing the bulb.

Is red bulls new evidence that Lewis celebrated the victory and upset Sebs feelings?

If I had the time and expertise I would put the JFK "back, and to the left" scene over the footage of Hamilton clipping Verstappen.
