Yeah it tells you all you need to know when nearly everyone is expecting him to try something akin to crashing Lewis out to secure his first title, didn’t Rosberg actually have the nervy task of passing Verstappen to get his title back in 2016? Recall he just sent it deep down into the chicane after the long straight, probably lucky he didn’t get crashed out in hindsight!

You should get a race against him in iRacing Ad, then brake check him down a straight and see how he likes it

I think Liberty would bloody love Verstappen to take out Lewis. The viral nature of the clip and eyes on the sport are exactly what they want. They want to add additional memories for the new generation of fans who have only heard legendary stories about Schumacher and Senna.

It will be an absolute disgrace if it does happen though.

As bad as it’d be to see, I kind of hope Hamilton blitzes the entire field and Verstappen has a weekend full of reliability issues, then when Hamilton comes across to lap him he refuses to move over and intentionally crashes Hamilton out, as you’d like to think that’d stand a chance of the FIA actually growing a pair and DQ’ing him from the championship never mind just the race.

I think it just seems inevitable, as the Mercedes looks miles faster than last few races. Doesn't matter how good you are, you can't do anything about all that extra pace. Just can't see Max shrugging and watching Lewis ease to a win. It's a shame as until Monza, I thought he was brilliant this year. The final quali lap and his move from the 2nd restart were brilliant too, but you can see the frustration getting to him as he probably knew after Brazil qualifying that Lewis was going to pip him to the title and he's reacted terribly to it.

I've seen some track demos from the F1 game of the new layout. I'd imagine it would favour Merc as sections are faster and I can see it making overtaking much easier with DRS. That said, some of the fast corners should really suit RBR.

I would say Max would be fav for pole, but Hamilton will likely have the advantage on race pace. At some point he will likely have to overtake Max which is where the trouble will always come.

Hopefully no penalties for either on the grid, and we get a straight fight between them at the front with no further drama. I can't imagine Max can seriously get away with it if they crash again, it's become far too visible what he is up to.
