I think we’re getting to the point where Hamilton’s records will be the records for a long time, he’s had such a consistently strong team around him (how many people will ever have the record of winning a race in every season they’ve raced in? To date at least) producing a race winning car, from my recollection he’s only had one ‘poor’ season as well and even that wasn’t a bad season for him either! The only way I could see them being broken is if the next wonder driver gets in a dominant team from the off which is very unlikely as I doubt any of the top teams would put a new driver straight into the main team like McLaren did with Hamilton in 2007.

Alex Brundle sounds almost identical to his father. His voice is slightly higher but it's uncanny.

They do sound very alike, if we’re lucky Martin Brundle will commentate until Alex’s voice is so similar 90% of people won’t notice the change.

Once they change to sprint race qualifying, that basically strawberry floats up the pole record anyway, so Hamilton’s pole record will likely stand for decades.

I remember seeing how great Senna was over one lap. Never thought that would be matched but Schumacher beat it by sheer number of chances. Hamilton’s record is just godly, on a par with what Senna could have achieved. It’s insane really that Hamilton seems under appreciated for what he has done in this sport. Easily in the running to be considered greatest sportsman of all time.

I wonder what Hamilton was holding on the back of his steering wheel at the start. His left hand was up and over the back of the wheel for the first phase.

They mainly changed it for American viewers but it didn’t really seem to gel with the sport for some reason, made no difference to me.
