Well, I was thinking he'll pick up a couple of places with the slipstream at the start and another place or two via pitstops. Plus the main straight is very long. I'm pretty sure he'll make the lost places back, barring incidents.

On the yellow flags, I believe the marshals waving them always take precedence over the digital boards and the drivers wheel signals. Championship far from over unless Verstappen gets too hot headed into turn one and tips over himself.

By the sounds of it the stewards/Karen wanted to "let them race" and kept putting the signs back to green, which the marshals ignored due to being right by Gasly's stricken car.

The penalty is definitely correct for both of them, there was a very slow moving and damaged car ahead of them, the marshals were spot on in my opinion.

It's been good as you've had a genuine battle up top, but I really hope next year McLaren and Ferrari are actually up there too. Would be amazing genuinely not knowing who's going to be pole and on the podium every race weekend.

I kind of fear for Bottas next season. You can't fault for him being consistent when he's at the front, but when he's in the middle of the pack you'd never guess he has a car so much quicker than those around him.

Yeah, genuinely surprised at how little trouble he had passing those guys. Penalties are really irrelevant to these two, they're so far ahead everyone else.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Verstappen gets Hamilton in the pit stops, although he might have some front wing damage from the sounds of it! Bottas is not helping Mercedes get the WCC is he?
