I know there might be some truth in the Red Bull car being better at the moment, but it comes across as so disingenuous when the team that have led both tables for three (?) years, along with winning every championship there is for the last seven years to keep banging on about behind the underdogs in a season where that has been so little change to the cars.

I think the fact Mercedes have won everything for so long plays into this, but after not thinking the best of him or Red Bull during my Drive to Survive binge, I find myself rooting for Verstappen when watching the races.

Given how much gooseberry fool Mercedes have gotten from everyone else for being the best, like it’s so easy. The second someone else has the advantage I’d be giving it to them with both barrels too. Especially Horner who seems like a real smug prick.

All the teams are quick to talk up other teams though, it’s nothing new in any sport. Obviously Red Bull and Mercedes main offenders over the past 10 years though as they’ve been the only two teams to win the championships since 2010. Both have been quick to talk up their contenders as it makes them look better if they beat them, if not then they had the faster car.

One hour till lights out, only hoping for one thing today, Vettel in the points With the race pace of the others it might be a tough ask though, midfield is really close although overtaking did seem slightly easier here than some tracks we race at.

Yeah, Norris doesn’t seem afraid to make any corner a potential overtaking spot. Vettel out of the points, didn’t even make it to the pit stops At least the updates seem to be helping Stroll’s race pace by the looks of it. Another solid move by Hamilton.
