That was a great qualifying session, just for how many people struggled to even get a lap together

Amazing job from Leclerc and Hamilton, although Leclerc did say it was a gooseberry fool lap Getting a slipstream seemed more vital here than Monza. I imagine Mercedes will be quietly delighted that Singapore has been cancelled considering how much they seem to struggle in the slower speed corners compared to Red Bull and Ferrari, Verstappen didn’t look pleased at all with P3.

Edit, Ricciardo really struggling still, meanwhile Lando just looks better week by week (although he has a grid penalty this weekend after a red flag infringement). Really good from Gasly (should have been given a mega slipstream by Tsunoda), solid lap from Vettel too and P11 is a good position to start in theory.
