I was hoping they'd hop to Williams or Haas as having a pink car on the grid has always been kinda neat.

Aston Martin are really hovering up sponsorship deals aren’t they! BWT would have never sponsored Haas in their current state, with Mazepin’s awful actions, shame they couldn’t have helped Williams out a bit though.

I remember the split, it didn't really start to damage the CART series though until the likes of Penske and Ganassi decided to move across.

Final stage of the Finland Arctic Rally just underway in the WRC. It’s been a thoroughly entertaining weekend. Happy to see Ogier flounder a bit, so he doesn’t just get an early lead in the championship and run away with it. And after Tänak having to retire in Monte Carlo, it’s looking like he’s about to take this round and get back in the running.

Some absolutely stunning footage, aerial and otherwise. It is so fast and there’s so much tight sliding around between the snow banks it almost looks like a bobsleigh run.

Really appreciate the one Irish competitor (Craig Breen) rejoining the championship after a couple of months off and after coming second in the first stage, being interviewed at the finish:
“Craig, how was that?”
“AH, IT WAS SHITE”

For anyone that's never had F1 merchandise like that, but may be considering it, trust me it's not worth a fraction of the prices they charge. I've had a few items over the years (I wait until the season finishes and the new stuff launches for big discounts) and they're never great. A softshell jacket which was alright for the £35 I paid for it, but the original price wa over £200 Same with a raincoat, I'd have been pissed off if I'd not paid a relatively small amount, but the retail price was £180 For a basic single layer anorak thst had a little team logo on.

It’s expensive but that sadly seems like the going rate for F1 merchandise these days

Only thing I’ll be getting is a polo shirt at some time, they seem to be longer lasting than the standard T-shirt’s (still overly expensive for what they are) so the small premium over those seems almost worth it to me? Not a chance would I pay nearing £200 for a jacket or similar, I might keep my eye on the stuff come the end of this season and see how much it’s reduced by though.

The Team 3-in-1 Jacket just seems to be the Team Jacket and Team Gilet in a bundle pack but costs £130 more than if you bought them separately.

The Aston Martin caps are neat, but i want to see what the Alpine and Kimoa designs are like before i make a decision as to which one to get.

That said, on closer inspection, if the AM logo on the front is printed rather than embroidered, then it's a bit of a cop out when you consider the price tag.

The packaging on these cars is ridiculously tight, proper shrink-wrap job... shame they can't shrink the damn wheelbase.

I think its mostly a factor of having to keep the driver's legs behind the suspension so it can't punch through the side and chop their legs off, or pivot back and allow a wheel to swing up near their head.

As we saw with Grosjean’s crash last year, the size of the survival cell will be here for the foreseeable and as Ad said, that’s a fair chunk of the size just in that. Only way they’ll probably ever get smaller is if they bring refuelling back and drastically shrink the overall engine size which is probably very unlikely to.
