The Merc would great if it was all in that Matte black finish with the teal accents just a simple no nonsense livery but the whole grey fade AMG part ruins it for me.

Looks lovely. Interesting how these cars have a swept in floor and it appears to have a rake angle independent of the diffuser (it's really visible in the red bull on track promo shots).

If you mean the way the floor sweeps into the rear wheels then there was a regulation change for this year whereby the floor couldn’t be as big, I seem to think they couldn’t have any slots in it either but could be wrong on that one. Seem to think only a couple of teams don’t opt for the really high rake these days, mainly the Mercedes powered teams.

GRcade Exclusive: Apparently Racing Point has managed to bully Netflix into removing anything critical of them from the new season of Drive to Survive. "If you don't remove any reference to us copying Mercedes, we won't cooperate on the next season" etc. If they capitulate for Racing Point I can't imagine the big teams are going to let them show anything good either going forward.

The one anecdote I've been told which they really wanted to keep in was some media shoot where Lance was camping it up like he was Derek Zoolander. Gone.

Pretty poor on them for that, Drive to Survive hasn’t exactly been an accurate representation of how the season pans out anyway with how it hypes some aspects, seems to edit others, although it does do a good job of some aspects so it’s definitely more good than bad in my opinion.

I love the way they try to make up rivalries that nobody outside the teams themselves even remotely care about.
