Looking at the breakdown of the incident with Chandock and the penalty for Lewis just seems nonsensical to me.

The more I see that incident the more the blame lies with Verstappen rather than Hamilton, still think it’s a racing incident (and no penalty) overall but if you had to blame someone, Verstappen comes off worse in my opinion.

Totally agree with what Lewis said in the paddock. Max always puts the ball in the other person's court when overtaking or defending. You either back off or he will risk a crash. He's always been like that.

It will only work so long as the other driver backs off. If they don't, it's a racing incident, always has been. Had Max backed off, he could have still easily won the race either by getting the tow on Hanger or through the stops.

Not really sure what Max wanted Lewis to do with 100,000 fans that thought he was fine, wanting to celebrate a great win. Had this happened at Zandvoort, there is absolutely no way Max wouldn't have celebrated.

I still don't understand why he was defending so hard all of that lap. He has to adapt his style to his circumstances, the championship leader doesn't need to take that sort of risk when he still has a considerable advantage with the car. At most he would have dropped 4 points and would have likely gained them back at Hungary.

He isn't in the "nothing to lose" situation anymore.

Thought the incident was more Hamilton's fault than Verstappen's and the penalty was fitting, it's a shame of course that Max ended with a harsher punishment but I do not understand what Horner has to complain about, ridiculous comments really, making himself look like an idiot.

I don't know where Lewis' pace came from. Also. Inside is key. In my opinion max should have yielded and gone back. The men were neck and neck anyway

Horner sounded all thru the race about the incident as a complete whingebag loser he is so full of entitlement. Hamilton should of waited too pass as he clearly had the pace over Verstappen who's tyres which were still not fully up too temp. Hamilton should of got a harsher penalty

What annoys me most is every time a driver in an incident like that is punished it puts another dent in the chances of seeing drivers race each other.
