Not sure it's been mentioned here, but Horizon Chase Turbo is getting a Senna Forever DLC.

It basically means it will be a spiritual sequel to the absolute classic (for F1 fans) Megadrive game, Aryton Senna's Super Monaco GP II.

Max and Horner really are the perfect fit for each other.

I watched the highlights on Channel 4 but really didn't like how they focused entirely on Hamilton's car the whole race. Pretty much the only time another car was shown was if Hamilton overtook them.

To be fair, not a lot happened in that race outside of Hamilton and Sainz

For a wet race it was actually really dull (the weather and the race!), normally you get some excitement but the only 2 notable drives were Hamilton and Sainz, Ocon’s race was alright but that could have very easily gone wrong massively at the end if his tyres had given up on him. Normally you get an extra dose of excitement when drivers are attempting slicks but the one driver who put them on quickly realised it wasn’t ready, weirdly enough it still wasn’t ready for dry tyres by the end despite the fact relatively little rain fell in the second half. Not surprised the Channel 4 highlights weren’t up to much

I think diresta said the track resurface was giving so much grip that it was like running on hard tyres in the dry, so the usual lack of grip and uncertainty in a wet race, which is a shame as it was pretty dull.

On another subject, for those that have seen Schumacher, did anyone notice Mark Webber had a heavy South African accent going on? Not a hint of Aussie, yet I'm listening to him on the f1 nation podcast now (which is a day old) and he sounds as Aussie as ever. I wonder if it was for some Sort of bet.

Yeah I agree with that. The track might have been wet but it played out like it was a dry race. It makes it all the more surprising that the inters could go so long.

Yeah I picked up on that, Webber didn't sound Aussie at all.

One thing that didn't really get talked about much was the penalty for Gasly hitting Alonso at the start. Apparently the stewards decided Gasly wasn't sandwiched, which isnt what I saw on TV. To me that was the best example of a racing incident at the first corner of the race. A wet circuit added in made it even harder.

Alonso then did far worse a few laps later on Schumacher. Looking at the two incidents, it seems bizarre they were awarded the same penalty. I don't know how F1 manages to get things like that so wrong.

Not entirely sure what is going on there, the pics aren't exactly clear, are they reprofiling the corner or something?

The chalet is being taken down because a huge grandstand with VIP lounges will be constructed in its place. On track there will be some changes, one of them is the return of the gravel traps.

He should definitely keep giving Hamilton driving advice though.

Like with this season though, they may be still used if an event has to be cancelled again i suspect.

I mean let's be honest, what's the likelihood of Australia pulling the plug again?
