Been watching a bit of the Monte Carlo WRC this weekend, just makes me want to buy WRC 9!

My dad bought me it when it came out, I watched it loads of times. I like Murray pretending to start the footage with the buttons and the naff screen effect that follows, just out time.

Probably be like when Stallone was doing what ended up being driven, claimed it was a F1 film being made and got VIP access to every race like he was royalty.

yeah and then he found out a F1 story would not work and he made it based around Indycar instead and that movie flopped big time lol.

Movies about motorsport is a really tricky genre, and as such, the vast majority are absolute balls.

I remember Tom Cruise's Nascar film, it was dire, and the tie in Amiga game was even worse.

Days Of Thunder is not a bad film its superior for a start too Driven. Rush is a good too

What about Talladega Nights? As Far as F1 focused films go Rush is superb though.

I don’t see how this F1 Netflix film will be any good, I’m expecting a film in the category of ‘so bad its good’ king of thing.

Its ok but the "comedy" in some of the scenes is so forced and not funny very forgetful

I'm looking forward to seeing the 2022 cars get revealed as I have a feeling this year will just be another Mercedes walkover.

The only interesting thing will be if Ferrari can have another disaster year as I have a feeling if they do they're going to have a full-on management overhaul bloodbath.
I think Lando might sneak a win this year.

One scene that has me properly laughing is the dinner scene where his kids rip into his or his wife’s dad, just for how bonkers it is

I’ll definitely give that a watch too, meant to watch it when I saw it beforehand.

I think this year will be another Mercedes walkover sadly, hopefully the mid field will be like 2020 again as that was cracking. I can see all of the teams barring Mercedes, Red Bull and maybe Ferrari (depending how well they start the season) basically releasing their 2021 car and then focusing on 2022 as that is the year a lot of them will be aiming to move up the field in.

Aston Martin are really hyping up the arrival of Vettel on social media, looks like he’s thinning on top quite a lot though (probably the stress of being at Ferrari last year ).

Will probably buy a new F1 cap this year, i'd like to get a 2021 design as for many years now, i've only ever bought older designs because they're cheaper.

I may get an Aston Martin one if they bring out a decent looking cap, or maybe an Alpine Alonso one (i seem to have had a lot of Alonso caps over the years, my McLaren Honda one last year was an Alonso).
