A lot of this strategy stuff goes over my head, but if he felt his mediums were shot after 10/11 laps, what is he going to be feeling like by the end of the race? Meanwhile Lewis is going to be on fresher ones.

Verstappen will have had a fair bit more deg due to running in the hot air coming off of Hamilton’s car whereas Hamilton doesn’t have that extra issue to deal with. Hamilton in and taking the lead.

I honestly would have pushed for the one stop if I were Hamilton, maybe switch onto a new set of softs 10 laps from the end if the deg is too high.
