Yeah I know nothing about strategy. Not just snuck passed, but with a pretty huge lead too.

Been listening to a couple of episodes of F1’s Beyond the Grid podcast and just seen there is one with Alfa Romeo’s head of strategy Ruth Buscombe, so might be a good one to find out and listen to, not listened to it myself yet but could be worth a listen to learn a bit more about the strategy side of things.

Can’t believe it was 7 years ago already.

From the midpoint of the season Vettel and Red Bull were an unbeatable combination, winning 13 races overall and 9 in a row, his words over the team radio towards the end of the season are still quite poignant to this day, about enjoying and remembering those days as they have no idea how long they will last, this year might be the return of those days for the team.

I starts watching some classic season reviews. I've started with the first VHS I ever owned, the 1994 season review. Obviously it has everything, unbelievable tragedy, controversy and a classic finale.



It's very 90s in presentation but considering what happened that year, it's treats it with real sensitivity. It was also probably the first season of the modern era in many respects.
