I remember being in Games Workshop in Woking in 2000 and David Coulthard drove past outside the door on some kind of slow lap he was doing around Woking town centre.
I was close enough to reach out and touch the car (but didn't obvs) but the noise! Wow the noise that close to the car was incredible! loved it

That memory has reminded me I'm a McLaren boy through and through. Changed my desktop back now

I feel bad for checo Perez, the amount of hype and pressure on him to win is huge. And not forgetting the usual pressure of keeping the team points up for the constructor championship.

I don't think he'll be in a position to give the lead to max anyway unfortunately.

The McLaren pace has been a bit gooseberry fool this weekend so far :/

This is one of the few Grand Prix I struggle to get excited for, not being a fan of the track being the main reason.

As nice as it’d be, not a chance is Perez winning this, I don’t think he’ll be anywhere near Max come the end of Sunday.

Sky F1 pundits have spent far too much time discussing the 'would Perez let Max passed' thing. Would love to see him win, but realistically there's no chance unless Max and Lewis have some sort of incident.

I know we’ve not had qualifying yet but the Red Bull’s are looking mighty again, if they can get a 1-2 here (with Max getting the win) I think that’s the WDC over and done with, I think Red Bull might just edge the WCC as well, Perez is ending the season stronger than Bottas, obviously Mercedes haven’t helped at all by giving Bottas penalty after penalty but still.

I don't think this one is done until it's mathmatically done. Just look how quickly things turned around after Silverstone and Hungary. One DNF can swing it from a 12 ish point lead for RB to 12 ish lead for Mercedes.

I do feel Red Bull have the upper hand on pace, so it’ll have to take a mechanical failure to swing things back to Hamilton’s way but you never know till it’s mathematically impossible, it does feel rather unlikely at the moment though.

I definitely think we’ll see Max coast to victory tomorrow. I hope I’m wrong but I think this track suits them far too much.

I don't really get this RB have the clear pace advantage thing. In Turkey, Max didn't get a sniff of getting close to Bottas. The Mercedes are definitely faster on a straight, so even if he doesn't get pole, I don't think it's crazy to think Hamilton could be leading by turn 1 with that huge straight. I know this track suits the RB car a lot more, but if you can only pass on the straights here and Mercedes are faster there, that doesn't seem like a terrible thing.

Red Bull definitely do have an overall pace advantage, it’s not much at some tracks but is definitely there at more often than not. As for Mexico and Mercedes straight line speed, it’ll be less effective with the altitude the Mexico City track is at with the thinner air.
