PostThe "Let's Watch Die Hard together on Christmas Eve" thread 2020! (2020 from Pg.3 onwards)

Welcome, one and all, to the 7th (Or 8th?) annual Christmas Eve Die Hard viewing thread.

Grab some beer, baileys, or something nice. Get the crisps and the cocktail sausages out.
And prepare to quote along with the movie in this thread.

Last years thread was awfully quiet - let's have a better turn out this year!

Remember to start the movie around 21:55pm/21:58pm
Depending on what theatrical release you're watching so that Hans falls from the Skyscraper smack on midnight, ushering in the big day!
(Might be worth having a peek to see what moment he falls on your release prior to the watch).

Here's the previous two years, in case you want to catch the highlights:

Regardless of our opinions on the new Star Wars, we can all agree that 1>3>2>4>>>>>>>>>>5.

My girlfriend has never seen Die Hard, we're planning on watching it on Christmas Eve

Is it on Netflix or Prime video?

It's the viewers choice, whatever you prefer.
Me and my missus usually wrap the boys presents, drink baileys and wine, and eat about a dozen different cheeses :datass:

Alternatively, if you start watching Home Alone at 10.28, Kevin hugs his mum on the stroke of midnight, ushering in the big day. :)

Just in case anyone wanted to watch a Christmas movie instead.

Muppet's Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve, Muppet's Treasure Island on NYE. That's the tradition

Home Alone is just a kids version of Die Hard.

Because it’s a great Christmas movie. I sadly have the lads up for beers on Christmas Eve this year but I will be watching when they leave.
