GRcade Pokémon Shiny Hunters Club!

Very mixed results in Scarlet and Violet so far. A bunch of stuff I got multiple of during a 30 minute shiny buff from sandwiches, but others I’ve gone through 2-3 hours worth of these buffs without getting one shiny.

Caught a shiny Magikarp (wanted 2 but only got one then wasted 3 hours trying to get another to spawn (just doing the kill 60 then picnic farm one)).
Caught a Golduck in the same way. Then caught a shiny Gastly too doing the same thing.

I got another Magikarp swarm today which I wanted to abuse since I thought it was in a great location, but it was inside a wall... When you look on the map it even shows it and if you look through the cliff the river where they spawned goes on for quite a bit behind it. I guess they forgot/didn't bother to make it so swarms couldn't appear in places you couldn't get to. I tried glitching through the wall by using a battle, but seems they fixed that glitch lol.

So I had a go at making one of those shiny sandwiches in a vain attempt to find a shiny iron valiant. No such luck. Went out to walk the dog and found a shiny galar zigzagoon

so my friend found a couple shinys i'm after so i went out hunting for shinys he'd like. found a shiny sandygast (he's not getting that) and misdreavus. now to see if he responds to the bribe

Got a shiny Teddyursa in Arceus. He's green and super cute <3

Just got a Kadabra. Honestly I think it looks kinda weird but still a shiny is a shiny!

made myself a fighting type shiny sandwich and found a shiny rolycoly

According to my Scarlet profile, I’ve battled 7 shiny Pokémon and subsequently caught 7, on Violet I’ve apparently battled one but don’t recall it :lol:

some of the shiny Pokémon these days are far too close to their original colour palette.

So got shiny numel, larvesta and torkol

I've been in Rulas pokemon Scarlet tonight through the union room and we both invaded area zero. To my delight, I ran into a Roaring Moon instantly, and to make things even better, it was shiny!

Not an hour later, whilst trying to find the last variant mon I needed, I find a shiny jumpluff too!

Shiny Roaring Moon is a pretty excellent get!

Joining the Shiny Hunters Club with the special number five shiny. Special as it was the first found now that I've completed the 'dex.

Shinys eight and nine caught, and I had to get them together in a picnic, as they're the same Pokémon!

And yes, I've wanted to make that reference since the games came out. Always heading for the mass outbreak of Forretress whenever it was available. But only one of them came from the latest outbreak. And it came early on in it too. Hadn't even had the first message to say numbers were dwindling. The second came as I headed west along the trail, coming to the small lake as the path winds back down south. And what a surprise when one of the Forretress hovering over the lake was a shiny. Except with this one I forgot to save before initiating battle. Fortunately, it didn't use explosion.
