Restart your computer.

When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly (not too fast, every second will do) until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options.

Select the Safe Mode.

Boot into Windows 7 Safe Mode.

Then try removing iTunes through Add/Remove programs.

Sounds like witchcraft to me.

I'll try it.

If I die, tell my girlfriend to scatter my ashes in the face of a small child.

Safe mode is... safe :shifty:

It just loads the bare minimum of what is required to run Windows. It sounds like something won't close down when you try to uninstall iTunes, so running safe mode will make sure nothing extra is running.

It's also handy if you ever get viruses, as it allows you to clean up the computer manually without having to run shitty anti virus programs.

Oh yeah, sorry. It's android an windows we can't criticise.

The thing is, I come into this thread to try and help iTunes or iPhone troubles, but when I see dozens f pages about how gooseberry fool iTunes is, then it gets massively boring.
