Erm, when you take a picture it automatically loads it to iCloud. Stores the last thousand photos for up to 30 days. Will automatically load all pictures onto your iCloud devices and iPhoto/Aperture.

To delete the photos in photo stream, log into iCloud.com, click on your name/account, Advanced, and there is an option to reset it. Then disable it from the device, which will delete the photos, re-enable and it'll be fresh and clean.

But where do you find the photos in icloud?

If you mean in a browser, then you can't. They're only accessible on iPhoto, Aperture and iPods, iPads and iPhones. I think there may be a windows programme released soon though to view them.

Ah, I see. I thought you could see them in the browser. Will install iPhoto since I never got round to do doing that when I first got my Mac. Thanks Massi

Ever since the last update, iTunes keeps opening itself a few minutes after I exit. It's really starting to piss me off now.

Why not cash in your 3GS? It's still going for decent prices on eBay.

Turns out it's because I have my iPad set to wireless sync, and I had the "open iTunes when this iPad is connected" box ticked :fp:

It's actually really easy to do apparently: my friend's iTunes was doing the same with his 4S.

My iPod won't wirelessly sync. It just keeps saying "This iPod will sync when James-T-Kirk (that's what my computer is called) is ready."

IT'S strawberry floating READY, JUST SYNC ALREADY YOU PIECE OF gooseberry fool :x

iOS5 wasn't a big enough upgrade. Shitty WiFi syncing, crap notifications centre, bugger all else changed. Wank.

What's crap about the notifications? :| It's far less intrusive than it used to be, you know you can change the look of it, right? The banner one is fantastic to use

On a side not, does anyone know which VLC app I need to put any size video straight onto my phone without the need to convert it?

Okay, I was just a bit pissed off when I wrote that.

The WiFi syncing is still lacklustre though, and the notifications are good, but very basic. The drawer only seems to do the notifications themselves, and just the weather and stocks widgets. Why do Apple have to resist adding useful features like quick settings and multitasking in the dropdown drawer? I know I keep banging on about Android but they really are still miles ahead of iOS in that department. Apple make these tiny little concessions and they're STILL borked. WiFi syncing - doesn't work properly for me. I'm sure I'm not the only person, either. And what's this crap about it needing to be plugged into the mains? Does that not completely defeat the object?!

iCloud is okay I guess, but I haven't used it enough to be able to make a judgement. Seems like a cross between Google's automatic backup facility and Dropbox, which is cool if you have a more or less constant internet connection.

It's obviously working for them though. Mostly, I'm sure, because of the insanely well-built hardware and the sheer idiot-proof simplicity of iOS.

Best thing about iOS5 is that the keyboard now disappears when you scroll upwards in a text conversation. Godsend.
