Thinking of getting my girlfriend an iPhone for christmas and noticed just how cheap the 3GS is. I've got the iPhone 4 myself as was wondering what the key differences between the two are?

Different hardware. Software is identical.

I was actually just coming in here to say my battery has got much better now. Not sure if it's just by running the battery to dead a couple of times and charging, or if it's a result of turning off the bug which leaves location tracking on all the time. But definitely much better.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Anyone know of any programs (presumably homebrew) I can use to record the footage from an App? I've got a G Force sensor, but the App itself only records for a minute, and I need to record at least 5 minutes non-stop :x

:shifty:

It's actually research. I'm off to Alton Towers on Sunday, so I figured that I could record a few of the rides and check out the G's during certain features. I've downloaded this iCarBlackBox, that does everything I'm looking for, but I can't figure out how to get it to record for long periods of time :x

Alternatively, some kind of App that automatically took screenshots every second would do.

EDIT: The App that would do it, Display Recorder, doesn't work on iOS5 yet :x

In Location Services, you need to turn on te icon which shows you when you're 'being tracked'. This will stay on until you turn off Setting Time Zone. I'm pretty sure it's a big and shouldn't be on all the time.

Is that not something that's already available on the internet?

You can find out the maximum G's, but I'm looking for second-by-second analysis, just for maximum brownie points.

Yeah, Alton Towers isn't my favourite theme park. But if I can segue my experience at Alton Towers into something that'll help me leave university with a First, it's a bonus, right?
