Any ideas?

That's odd. Maybe try converting them in iTunes to see if that helps? Is it all videos, or just certain ones?

All videos.

"Cannot transfer file because iphone in unable to play format"

Even though they are video podcasts that are designed for the iPhone :D

Hmm that is a very strange problem.

Did you download those from the itunes itself? It sounds like an encoding problem.

EDIT: Try selecting the file, and go to advance>convert selection for ipod. You will end up with two files at the end, just delete the old one and try synching the new one over.

My mum has been given my dad's 3GS now he's got a 4S and today she's put it on charge and every few minutes it just seems to reboot randomly. Any guesses why? Part of me thinks it's just the phone dying but my mum said the battery life has been awful, won't last a day so maybe the battery bug from iOS 5?

Did the percentage drop dramatically?

If so, it's possible that the battery is strawberry floated. The only way to check is to take it to the apple store and they'll run a diagnostic check. If it is the battery, they will hand you a replacement iPhone 3GS for the cost of the battery (£55.)

Patch coming soon to fix Battery bugs. In fact you can nab the developer patch now from Torrents.

When I start up my new phone does it give me an option to add all my stuff from my old iphone through itunes?

Will the stuff stay on my old iphone until I get rid of it?

The podcasts are via itunes, the 2 films are from 'other sources'. I'm trying out that converting thing now, hopefully that'll work.

If you back up everything via cloud and use the same account to sign in on the new phone, everything will be backed up automatically. Apps should be too, but people are having problems with this.

And yes, the stuff will stay on your old phone. If you restore it to the factory settings, it will wipe everything for you.

Your iPhone SHOULD automatically back up to your hard drive every time you plug it in. Plug in a fresh iPhone and iTunes should prompt you with a "iTunes already has an iPhone synced - Do you want to restore from an existing backup or start afresh?" style thing.

So the answer to your original question is "yes" :P

I set up my iPhone 4S yesterday around 6:30 and since than till now the battery has dropped to 70% and I have been texting a lot and playing around with Siri.

Also I know that the battery takes a couple of full charges to get to its full potential so im happy with it at the moment.

Also say to siri "Google Do A Barrel Roll"

Also can you keep an eye on the battery for me?

Sometimes I'll wake up and pick up my phone. 10 minutes later I checked the battery and it has dropped down to 91%. Im not sure if this is just me being tired and didn't really remember if I've been using it beforehand.

Also do anyone know a good website for custom vibrations? I want that MGS "!" one.
