The Last Of Us Remastered (PS4). Get your selfie sticks out!

Mechanically I think the game is very solid and the animation work is where it really shines. So many contextual melee actions make it very visceral and immersive.

In contrast the breaking of immersion from your AI partners blundering about is a tradeoff in favour of gameplay - enemies are literally blind to them, so the AI can never break your stealth or mess things up for you. It's certainly wonky at times, but I prefer it this way round.

The level design is absolutely linear so don't expect anything in the way of choice of approach (except the choice of stealth vs combat, where stealth is more rewarding).

I always wanted a multiplayer mode with a team of 4 against clickers.
They could make it so they use the mic so that people had to be as quiet and any excess noise would hear them. It could be pretty tense.

They could even put Clickers in random places on the current multiplayer just to add a bit of danger.

Party chat (or other external voice chat on PC) has ruined any interesting mic mechanics like this from ever being a thing

I've started this last night and only played online though.

At the beginning I was struggling how to play but eventually I picked it up. Good fun it was. :lol:

Just completed Hunter Journey.

Need to do the Firefly journey then I'm done with online trophies. :toot:

No idea how far through the experience I am but I've gone from think it was a decent, competent experience to seeing it as something that is really damn good!

) making my way through the University and discovering that the Fireflies have all strawberry floated off. Bastards!

Platinum'ed.

The last time I've played it was on PS3 and never had a chance to play the Left Behind DLC. So I have completed it today and it was brilliant. It was very short but sweet though.

Can't wait for the sequel now. :datass:

Started playing this at about 7 last night and the next thing I knew it was 1AM. :shock:

Finally made it to the Fireflies :toot:

Think the "Winter" section has probably been my favourite part of this so far, so intense!

I was right there with Ellie when she was hacking the strawberry float out of him. strawberry floating stick the bastard! :nod:

I did quite like the irony of the situation though - David is clearly a monster but is also the reason that Joel survives as he allows Ellie to take the penicillin to him.

I got to that part at about 4am on my first playthrough and it was legitimately terrifying
