The Cats preceded the GF by about 2 years, so she had little choice in the matter.

Oddly their size helps as she doesn't think of them as cats anymore, more like dogs. She really loves them both now and is happy to pick them etc, but if she sees a normal size cat she freaks out (I know she's wierd).

The first 6 months were interesting because they are super friendly and just want to be near people.

Yeah, they are Maine Coons. Pain in the arse but wouldn't part with them for anything.

Guppies

Ours shagged like crazy, and you ended up with a load of new colours from nowhere. One ended up having a bright yellow and black striped tail fin which was massive.

They say it's best to keep two females to every male if mixing them, but they were still quarantining their females when we went to buy them, so we just picked up six males. It'll probably stay that way for the foreseeable, because we definitely don't have the space for eighteen guppies, much as I'd love that.
