My partner stuck a couple of missing posters up around the neighborhood yesterday. Saw this morning someone had ripped one down and had their dog gooseberry fool on it.

What the strawberry float is wrong with people? I hope it turns out ok.

Cheers.

I'm going to choose to believe the poster had already come down and the dog pooing on it was an unfortunate coincidence.

I wrote:Cat doesn't seem to be able to meow properly atm, only just noticed as he's been asleep most of the day. he doesn't seem too distressed but there's clearly something not right.

A trip to the vets seems likely.

Edit: its probably laryngitis caused by excessive meowing (fairly likely seeing as he never shuts up) so if he's still having problems at the weekend it'll be time for the vets then.

He can meow again, which is great as I can now stop laughing at him sounding like a frog.

PB, I hope your cat does eventually turn up.

He's just walked in! No collar and a bit thin, desperate for a meal. Maybe been trapped somewhere.

I'll upload a photo tomorrow.

That's great news.

Our previous cat once disappeared for a whole week, then just casually strolled in like nothing was wrong.

I'm so glad your cat is back PuppetBoy, give him the biggest cuddle you can. I wonder what happened to his collar?

Good to hear your cat has returned PuppetBoy!

I'm going to let the kittens into the garden in the next week or so, but a little bit at a time ideally. Anyone got any good tips for this?

EDIT - actually, looking online lots of sites suggest waiting until they are 5/6 months old before letting them in the garden. They're about 4 months now so will hold off for a bit.

I don't think I could cope with the worry if our cat went outside. Fortunately he's never shown any interest in it; I think because we found him out in the countryside, near death, eating weird fungi and sheep poo, he's had enough of the outdoors. He barely moves from the sofa.

He loses them all the time. He often comes home covered in seeds and things. I think he just climbs through bushes and trees all day and his collars must get caught on branches.
