They didn't know what breed he was so we did a DNA test out of curiosity. According to the results he is:

40% Staffy
40% Rottweiler
10% Boxer
10% American bulldog

Context is key. What sort of barking are we talking here?

Dog habitually left outside for a long time, barking to get it's owners attention to let it back in?

Dog barks when there's a knock at the door?

The first is a problem with the owner, the second is normal dog behaviour.

Well she barks at anything, anyone passing by, other dogs barking in the distance, owls hooting. She’s never really needed to bark to get back in

The cat is two today, so for 'reasons' my sister has bought him a helium balloon shaped like a 2 (with his name on it), a tin of expensive cat food and a birthday cake (not for the cat to eat btw).

Having a socially distanced 'party' for him atm, he's utterly baffled by the whole thing.

My cat was 5 yesterday. She got new toys and a fancy dinner. And an Instagram appreciation post.

Good God, my sister has made up some party bags for the cats birthday 'party', contents include a bottle of Old Tom beer (bottle has a picture of a cat on it) a bag of Montezumas chocolate buttons and a party popper.

She's insane.

I'm not seeing the issue. Loki gets a (specially made for dogs) cake and a party most years. :slol:

My cat with his favourite mouse, the first thing we bought him when we got him home after plucking him half-dead off the hillside. He loves that mouse.

Cali is shedding her winter undercoat so I had to pull some tats out of her fur. Not happy about it.

We really lucked out! Considering we just found him abandoned or lost, we couldn't have got a sweeter, more affectionate, more attractive and fluffy cat if we'd tried.

About two weeks ago I decided to buy a Betta to go in my community tank. Knowing the males have a penchant for wanton violence, I bought a nice, short finned little female one. Gorgeous pink and silver colour. I named her Betty.

Sunday night, one of my guppies was looking a bit peaky, constantly swimming at the surface. By Monday he was a goner, lying on the bottom with a fin missing. I put it down to illness/age and opportunistic bottom feeders.

Second guppy starts looking the same way that night. Tuesday morning, Betty's playing with it like a cat with a mouse, is revealed to be the murder criminal. Betty is moved to a new tank.

Cut to today. Third guppy goes belly up for reasons unclear, Betty follows shortly after.

RIP Custard, Mish-Mash, Sasuke and Betty.

Quarantine your fish, folks. :simper:
