Reptiles ftw.

I always wanted a husky when I was younger. Now I know better, think about all the walks you have to do :|

My sisters cats. (Technically I own the black pair)

D'aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Although I wouldn't really say you own cats. If they didn't want to live with you they'd just bugger off as soon as you let them out and never come back.

Big bump because we've just bought a puppy!

Pure pedigree Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch. Eight weeks old, brought it straight home last night. Cutest thing ever, I'll post pics later on when I can get them off my camera.

Bought from outstanding breeders - certified free of the problems that can affect that breed. It comfortably sits on my lap at the moment but it has paws like a bear - she's gonna be a beast. :D

How can a dog be certified free of defects? At any rate congratulations, and just make sure to give them a good quality food as they're a larger breed dog they will be growing very fast and a low quality food might result in bone, or joint problems later on.

Yeah, ok, there still might be things that develop later. However, there are three main things that can affect them from birth - the ridge on their back can be linked to their spine, they can have hip problems, and they can have issues with their eyelashes. She's been checked for those.

Anyway, here she is:

Very nice....and now the hard work begins :D

Nah, get her into puppy training as soon as possible, it'll help you out for the future.

Definitely will do. I've always been in a dog family, but never been the owner. I haven't really got a clue!

She's 8 weeks old tomorrow so is getting her jabs today. Can't really take her out until they've been done. Hopefully can start taking her on proper walks soon as she's got far to much energy at the moment.

Calling her Nala, by the way. Lion King FTW.

Lost one of my ferrets yesterday  The one day I forget to close the door when I took the rubbish out and she did a runner.

I almost caught her but she bolted and I've not seen her since. Was looking for her til 2am.

I've reported it to the RSPCA and local animal shelters but I'm not hopeful. She was an abuse case, extremely timid around people and really skittish (something after 8 long months we were finally making breakthroughs). Add to that that I live near a main road and there are loads of cats living around here means it's not looking good. So gutted, she was a lovely animal and, since coming out of her shell, full of personality.

:(

Currently playing second home to this ball of fur.

Utterly obcessed with the laptop. And head rubs. If he hears typing he'll climb over and force his head under your hands. Gunna have to clean this thing again. Cute enough. Always getting comfy on your lap for a sleep.

We I have a GSD. Bought for the kids almost 5 years ago but I've ended up looking after him. Bit of a mother strawberry floater TBH.

Two days on and no sign :-( I'm worried a cat or dog has got her. Either that or she's huddled somewhere, terrified and soaking wet

You should move on, as they have.

In other pet owning news, isn't this just fantastic dog walking weather? :|
