The Kitten is getting a lot braver now, he keeps running up and down the hallway and is thoroughly exploring the house. He also has an extremely loud meow for such a small kitten.

Current list of possible names includes:

Remy
Idris
Walter
Clawed Monet
Sergei - he looks a bit like a meerkat with his markings and fold ears.

That is a great name! My advice is go for something pronounceable and not too weird - I've had way too many strange looks and awkward discussions in the vets office with mine!

It could be shortened to either Claude or Monet so it wouldn't be embarrassing to shout out but it'd still be brilliant to see it wrote down on official vets documents.

The kitten is obsessed with my TV, he keeps leaping up onto the TV unit and pawing at the screen, usually turning off the soundbar in the process (or turning it up and scaring himself).

I've also suggested

Catilla the Hun
Archduke Furdinand
Sir Purrcival

Its my sisters cat though, so unfortunately she gets the final say in the matter.

I'll probably use most of those names as nicknames for him (the previous cat had so many that he'd basically respond to anything you called him).

The neighbours cat has known us since she was a tiny kitten. And now she comes running if she hears me calling her baby instead of her actual name

The best nickname for the previous cat was Grand El Bush, which came about due to his ridiculously bushy tail.

I once spotted the name Grand L Busch in the credits of a film and nearly passed out from laughing so much

It’s weird when that happens, but your cat is strawberry floating adorable to be fair so totally understandable.

I met a cat with 7 toes on each feat the other day. I wasn't sure whether or not to feel sorry or proud for it.

Four years already? strawberry floating hell. He's a lovely looking boy, though. 11/10.

I started this thread when we were considering getting a dog. Nala is now seven and a half, and going grey. Times flies, maeks you fink, etc,

Still magnificent, though.
