The cat, who has been missing all day just casually strolled in blissfully unaware that we've been worried sick about him (he usually comes back after an hour or so).

100% thought our dog was dead this morning.

She's normally up and about before anyone has got dressed or had breakfast but we didn't hear anything at all from her, so went down to check on her and she's lying there in her bed absolutely motionless. Not just still like a sleeping dog where you can still see them breathing but absolutely frozen, no visible movement whatsoever.

I thought gooseberry fool, this is it she's gone. Just as I'm approaching her to confirm the diagnosis she just jumps straight up and runs off! Scare the strawberry floating gooseberry fool out of me!

Jack has done that a few times when he's gone behind the sofa (he squeezes behind there to get attention some times). I was upstairs, came down wondering where he'd gone, then snuck up and said, "Jack. Jaaaaaack." Which is normally enough for the tail to wag and give the game away. Nothing. I reached in, tapped him on the back, nothing. I then shock him and said his name, nothing. "Oh strawberry float the dogs not moving OR BREATHING! ". Pull the sofa away from the wall, nothing, then he just lifts his head up and looks around like nothings wrong. Twat.

So today the cat did the first dick thing since we found him a week ago and actually pissed in the toaster wtf

We've been trying to train him to stay off the counters but clearly more extreme measures are required and so new toaster and everything in cupboards forevermore. And we bought a UV light to detect piss because blerghjnj

The first cat I had sealed his fate by pissing up my dads legs .

The current one has already been neutered but he still sometimes pees on things when his litter tray isn't 100% clean or something has scared him (he's a total wimp).

My cat got a fright at something mid-shite the other night and sprinted out of her litter tray in the bathroom. My wife spent a good few minutes laughing at her, only to go into the bedroom and get a nasty shot of instant karma when she realised that Maia had finished her bathroom break in there after running away. She stepped in it barefoot.
