I'm very much pro-meat alternatives, but I've had the Nando's alt-chicken and it's not great. I've only had it the once, to be fair. My wife thought it was good.

The BrewDog seitan stuff is fantastic though, burgers or wings. I will always get them over the real chicken options.

Beyond Burger is one of the better meat alternatives I've tried when I got some frozen ones from Tesco.

They weren't quite on par with a good quality burger from a butcher, but the taste/texture was more than palatable, especially compared to something like the Birdseye Green Cuisine burgers I tried which were just wrong in everybsingle way.

I've tried Birdseye green cuisine chicken and M&S own brand vegan chicken and they were both pretty bland compared to actual chicken.
