That's Numberwang...3 songs I've loved ever since I've heard them by 3 great bands....and then Bowling for Soup in the middle :lol:

I think I forgot they even existed yet still knew every single word to the chorus

I guess the utter randomness of that selection also fits the theme, right? :lol:

I was sorely tempted to do a short playlist starting with that Moby track but couldn't find 3 other tracks called strawberry float, Your and Self. I know it's incredibly childish but sometimes that's the level I operate on.

I kind of have the same problem as others when ranking, I like 2 or 3 of the tracks but then one comes up that I really don't like. Sent my scores in though, my picks for 3rd to 5th were pretty much interchangeable though.

Out of interest, what would you consider your "home" genre, if that makes sense? What kind of music do you normally find yourself listening to?

I'm all over the place really in terms of my tastes. Generally I'd lean towards rock or indie type stuff I guess, but there are exceptions all over the place.

I had another listen this morning and have settled on some that I thought were okay, but that's about as good as it's got for me this week :lol:

Managed to get my list down to seven and re-listening to them all this morning to try and make a final decision. It's tricky picking between lists where I really like three of the tracks and there is one that I don't like as much and trying to compare that to lists where I like all 4 songs but none of them as much as I like the strong tracks in the other playlists.

I managed to get my five relatively easily this week, but I did enjoy a bit of most playlists. None of them are offensively bad.

Wow, playlist 17 is truly beautiful. Didn't expect that from the name :lol:

I'm struggling for a top 5 this week, I think there's about 8 playlists where I've enjoyed all the way through.

Been thinking about it for last 5-10 mins and think I'm just going to submit what I've currently got noted down before I change my mind :lol:

The QOTSA song made me realise how long it has been since I listened to Songs for the Deaf.

Just before it came out my friend downloaded a copy, which he ripped and we played it repeatedly on a portable CD player during the drive to Reading Festival. Always reminds me of good times that album.

Ah, glad it's not just me that does that. Over the weekend I have been listening to The Holy Bible, Mellon Collie and The xx debut.

Coincidentally, I'd actually been listening to the XX album for the first time a lot recently. I love how atmospheric their sound is.
