The Playlist Game - WHAT'S MY THEME? - Results (pg7)

Got my top 5 selected, just need another listen through to order them. The synthy soundtracks scored quite well for me and loving Mission of Burma and L'elan Vital. Know Burma well, but Vital was unknown. Will be interested to hear how this was picked, as it has such low views! However, the Slayer track has to be the absolute highlight of the lot; an inspired pick! :slol:

Yeah that's correct. Then for the last week I'm going Friday / Sunday / Sunday.

Any more opinions on these guys? Always good to hear people's thoughts.

Some random thoughts

There were about 2 or 3 lists where I expected to hear Folsom Prison Blues and I think it might have worked really well.
List 6 contained too much Morricone for me.
I didn't really get list 7, I'll be interested to hear from the creator afterwards as to what their thinking was.
Still love that Kendrick Lamar song. It drags the rest of them up to a possible vote.
The end of tracklist 12 reminds me just how fantastic the Spiritualized cover of True love will find you in the end really is.
List 17 was a surprise, like the soundtrack to a videogame written by Taf.

I've got 5 more to get through today.

I've very much enjoyed the extra time to get through things, feel like I've been able to give them all a proper listen.

Not so keen on the playlists they're in, but really liking the Sounds of Swami and Gunship tunes. Also, agree with the others on here about the Guns n Roses November Rain version :dread:

Really don't like November Rain at the best of times but that version is especially grueling to listen to.

I have a final 5, yes that's correct, there are five playlists I like.

Needs Sexualizer by Perturbator on that playlist.

Pertubator's more of a darksynth/horrorcore artist. Synthwave's a lot more chilled out.

All I know is I like it.
