Excellent Thursday evening at work! Made a deal HU as we were even stacked. Thrilled to take it down.

Also came fourth in a $33 'Stars tournament tonight for $1,542 (after a four way deal). A good couple of weeks, this.

Well done man, that's a good win. I've recently started to play texas holdem and as I'm still very new, I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and reading a lot about it but do you have any advice?

All about patience and playing correctly for your position at the table. Knowing your shoving ranges for different BB stacks in different positions is really important. If you want a hand at any point with specific questions, feel free to drop me a PM :) I'm by no means a pro but I'm a profitable player :)

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Frustratingly. 11/530ish for ~$150 inc. bounties. Busted a flip that would've got me to final table comfortably. Sigh.

Into the final 5 of the Big $55. $1,143 locked up. Hoping I can spin it up a little more.

Edit: $1,441 locked up.

Edit edit:

strawberry floats sake. Got it in JJ vs TT for 2nd in chips and he rivered the ten. What a gooseberry fool way to end a decent run :(

I've been sent a Google Drive link to the Nick Petrangelo tournament course which costs $999. Reluctant to post the link in here but if anyone takes their poker pretty seriously and wants the links, drop me a PM.

Started playing a little micro stakes cash again recently after a long break, forgot how much people dislike folding small pairs.

How are the games for everyone else?

Anyone else got back into poker during lockdown?

Tonight is the fifth weekly tournament held between a group of friends. We usually get around 6-10 of us. So far I've won one and split first place in another. Hoping for a clean victory tonight :datass:.

Poker Stars seems to be best for home games, although some of the limitations are a bit annoying. We play $11 rebuy + add-on, 10 minute blinds with 5k starting stack.

I used to think poker was an incredibly difficult game. I have to admit, it took me a long time to learn to play.

Leading the Grosvenor Goliath Omaha tournament on Grosvenor Poker online if anyone wants to sweat.

I won an absolutely disgusting hand to take a chip lead three times bigger than any other player at one point.

EDIT - 3rd in the end for £1,410. Just ran out of luck in the final three. A great run.
