You've heard of the Political Compass, now get ready for--

The Political Sextant: http://www.politicalsextant.com/

It's a relatively short quiz that will match you to one or more of the 60+ ideologies here (which include anarchism, social democracy, New Labour third way centrism, classical liberalism, conservativism, fascism, and many many more): http://www.politicalsextant.com/full/

Helpfully, this quiz avoids the RPG "what the hell does this dialogue option do?" problem by outlining the author's thought behind each question below it, if you click "Pros" or "Cons".

It also doesn't try to say you are something, but rather says, "your ideas are found in these ideologies, maybe read about them", which I think is a better emphasis.

...Anyway, paste a screenshot of your results into Imgur and post it here so I can berate you for your terrible, counter-revolutionary opinions

(I am sure this thread will go really well :slol: )

Can't be arsed taking screenshots. But I am a big ole' Marxist apparently:

88% Classical Marxism, 88% Marxist Feminism, 88% Guild Socialism (?)

And then the fun flipside...

-50% Bleeding-heart Libertarianism, -50% Paleolibertarianism, -57% Fusionism (?), -100% Paleoconservatism.

Does this mean we can be friends, Karl?

Your guild socialism result is pretty interesting. I don't know too much about it, but it's a kind of compromise between statist and syndicalist strands of socialism, right?

Anyway, yes, you pass the test and will not be sent to the gulag, comrade.

Anarcho-naturism: 62%
Social Democrat: 58%
Third way: 62%

So it seems like I’m a boring left of centre moderate that secretly just wants to take my clothes off and live in the woods... seems fair.

The first two are roughly what I expected to be honest, dont know much about Third Way but it has a picture of Tony Blair on it so I must do some reading it seems.

Not really, I just wanted to see how easy it was to get their algorithm to produce a result of 50 on almost everything, because these things always lack any nuance, swinging wildly on the basis of one question.
