OG PS+ to potentially go out with a whimper, not a bang. It's sad, man.

Those who subscribe to PlayStation Now will be able to get their hands on Mobius Digital's Outer Wilds this month.

Also coming to the service are WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship, Journey to the Savage Planet and Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood.

It’s been whimpering along since at least PS5 launch. I don’t think I’ve got £10 of value out of the last year. No doubt the first month of the new service will include Returnal or something. Truly pathetic offerings from Sony when compared to the competition. Though we’ve been conditioned to accept as much since Jim Ryan took over.

Curse of the Dead Gods is excellent. It's also on Game Pass however, which diminishes my excitement as I have a save file there already. I would probably be inclined to start over on PS as you don't have the anxiety of a game leaving the service.

Are there really that many people who want to play FIFA 22 who haven't bought it by now?

I guess that mileage may vary, but I hardly ever download the PS Plus games, let alone play them. I literally only continue to pay so that I can play F76. Which, to be fair, still makes it worthwhile for me .

Bought it but couldn't get into CotDG. Totally solid game, though. Def highlight of the month, if it turns out to be true.

I think it suffered coming after Hades, and it does not feel as fully formed as that did (story, out of combat dialogue etc), but I thought the mechanics themselves were possibly deeper.

That being said I spent a hell of a lot more time on the former, and i'm actually planning to go back to it in the near future. Whether I would actually get back to CotDG is more questionable.

Would be very happy with FIFA 22 - I haven't played a FIFA in at least 5 years.

To be honest, I'd be happy to play a little FIFA. I'm gooseberry fool at it and I don't like football as a thing but I enjoy the tactical element of the video game.

Happy with the lineup for PS Plus this month.

I only play the odd game of Fifa and am often a year behind, so getting this years title before the end of the season (just) is nice.

Tribes of Midgard looks fun too. Something of a cross between a top down RPG and strategy game.

Much better than last month.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

I couldn't even name a single modern footballer, so it'll be nice to have a football game in my collection if I ever have any casual gamers over.

Sony Blocks Subscription Stacking As Pre-Paid PS Plus Cards Stop Working on PS5, PS4

Functionality temporarily deactivated according to customer support

Update: As pointed out by reader Fuzzymonkeyfunk, and corroborated by Push Square, Sony's support department appears to be confirming that the company has deactivated the ability to redeem pre-paid PS Plus cards to prevent subscription stacking. This is, presumably, because PS Plus and PS Now subscribers will be upgraded to PS Plus Premium for the duration of their longest membership.

A support email explains: “I have checked the voucher and your account and can conclude that as of now there is a temporarily deactivated function for PS Plus/PS Now subscriptions which does not allow for stacking of either membership on already active memberships.

“This is only temporary and as soon as we have more information about we will let our players know, for more information regarding news for the new launch of our service please check out our blog.”

As of the time of writing, it’s still possible to purchase pre-paid PS Plus cards from a variety of major retailers, including Amazon. However, Shop To does appear to have pulled the product from its storefront.

We’ve contacted Sony for comment.

Original Article: Sony support is being absolutely inundated with PlayStation 5 and PS4 owners who can’t redeem PS Plus promo codes. The issue – which does appear to be more prevalent in Europe right now but is seemingly affecting consumers worldwide – blocks legitimately purchased subscriptions from being redeemed.

Seems like you can only activate up to a year if your sub runs out.

PostRe: The PlayStation Plus and Now thread - Sub Stacking Kiboshed By Stingy Sony

So I got suckered (my choice) into doing this the other night and purchased a 12-month code from ShopTo - have been using them for my own credit and the odd purchase for years - and it didn't redeem.

ShopTo's response has been appalling - I raised a ticket, no reply at all, but then they closed the ticket. I raised a claim through PayPal and ShopTo's response was 'it should redeem in June and, if not, when your PSN sub expires as long as that's not more than 12 months away,' So I've now had to escalate the dispute with PayPal.

Bye, ShopTo - plenty of other places to buy credit and some games from. I feel like trading in the PS5 for a Series X as well, but that is cutting off my nose to spite my face, still I something I feel like doing though!

Microsoft are miles ahead of Sony in the way they are treating customers (for now). That being said, Sony still offers some of / the best first party games (with MS a distant 3rd in my opinion), so, as you say, trading in out of anger is probably not the way to go.

Best solution - buy one of everything. Even an Amico.
