"A little help, guys?" Hands bound behind his back, Maury could only watch as Roonmastor and Lionel broke free of their restraints and charged into battle. Hearing his cry, Roonmastor attempted to throw the keys at Maury but they fell agonisingly out of reach after his arm was jogged by one of their captors. Maury strained against his chains and eventually managed to seize the keys by his teeth as the battle raged around him. They did not taste good. After that it took no time at all to free the rest of his friends and assume combat stance. It was time to rumble.

I'm sure some of you have seen this coming, but my interest in this game has waned to the point where I don't feel like it is worth carrying on. Having been doing these since I was 14, I feel it has come to an end. I don't have any ideas, so I'm hanging up the towel rather than carrying on.

Here is the story I planned out, it was the stuff in between that was missing.

1- At the end of the first quest the Knights escape, planning to return when the heat is off from the castle.
2- Sir LewisD informs a church official of what he has seen, who want to take the ceremonial artefacts used to bring Jesus back.
3- The knights and Lewis race to the castle, but the Knights escape with the stuff through a secret door in the treasure room that was left unactivated in the first game.
4- They smuggle it out of France, join the freemasons who decide to hide it in America.

Present day stuff:

1- The FBI agents find records of what happened. The people blowing gooseberry fool up are modern day Templars who realise the church are after the relics (They want to use them to rebirth faith) and want to destroy them, but only know they are hidden somewhere old and scared.
2- ???
3- The church finds them somehow, the agents follow. Confrontation similar to that in the first quest, except they succesfully bring back the Jesus, rapture happens and the world is engulfed in flames, que the end of the game for real.

But yeah, pretty substandard stuff. Thanks for taking part all this time guys, it means a lot to me. :D

No worries Hulohot. Better to draw a line under it than let it simply die.

It's been fun though. Love me some AQ I do. Perhaps someday I'll take over the reigns.

So we have two players who were there for each and every Quest. Roonmastor and PsychicSykes. In recognition for their efforts, I am offering them both a small prize, as a thank you. PM's will be going their way. 8-)

Oooh, my prize turned up today. It said "Mr Roonmastor" on the front and my mother thought it might be for her. :fp: Ace gift Hulohot! Thanks for sending it and thanks for running this series of forum games.

More forum games should have cash prizes. :P

Could you tell me where each one is from. The note looks Russian or Greek but can't make it out and I think one of the coins is French.

I'm actually unsure about the origin or age of the note. It depends which pack you got, each was a bit different but I know each one had a really tiny silver piece from the 1900's, and one that is Roman, about 1500 years found in the Balkans. There would likely be French in there yes.
