Apparently the Co-op is selling 70cl bottles of JD Honey for £15. Going to nip out tomorrow and see if I can pick some up.

Opened this from the Step-Dads collection of drinks he never drinks.

So nice over Ice on it's own or with coke.

I almost bought some of that. Picked up a bottle of the Balvenie 10yr instead.

Losing weight at the moment, so whenever I go out drinking, it's straight whisky for me.

Ardbeg is pretty nice! Smoother and sweeter than Laphroaig, although I quite like the harsh burn Laphroaig has Very drinkable.

I currently have 3 bottles of Whisky 2 of them Laphrooaig.

We got it from a whisky shop in Edinburgh not so long ago.
I told the guy what whisky I liked to drink and he gave me a sample of this.

It's so clear, it looks like slightly coloured vodka!
And I was hesitant if it would taste any good as it's 'only' 10 years old.. But it was amazing!

The down side is that I've been made to wait until my son/daughter is born before cracking it open.
It's torture!

Got a bottle of this for my birthday and it's gloriously smooth and smokey. Definitely recommend.

I still haven't got around to opening my special bottle, above.

Though I got a small bottle of Grants purely to put in my Lemsips.
Not bad given its a cheap whisky..

Went to the gift shop at the Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh today

Decided to pick up a set of miniatures to share with my fiancées mum over Christmas - Glenkinchie, Aberlour, Glengrant, Tomatin, and two others I can't see the label of in the pack...

I thought it was the best way to expand my palate on a budget. May go back and get another small bottle of something later in the week - I want to try as many obscure whiskies as I can. Why go all the way to Scotland to buy the same bottle of Glenfiddich you can get in Tesco?

Won't be buying the £9000 bottle yet though

I've really taken to drinking whisky over the past few months, it's defiantly now my drink of choice. I just need to calm down on the measures...

I picked up a bottle of Glenmorangie for Christmas and have just finished my Jura Superstition. I'm no good at describing the nose or notes or anything but I'll go with 'tastes dead nice and smells like a bag of toffees'

I usually just pick up anything that's on offer: Famous Grouse, Whyte and MacKay and Teachers are usually yellow-labelled in Tesco. I will need to pay the Whisky Experience a visit though, I'll just make sure and leave my credit card at home!
