Lot's of Banks and Companies have bonus' for referring friends and relatives. As we're all friends here, why don't we make a list of who is with what bank or company. Then, if you are interested in joining you can be referred? Obviously it's completely your choice to do this and in my view it only has positive gains, but I can see why some people may be a bit hesitant. Remember this is all done by PM. I'll create a list by company and then put the list of people below who are with it. Then if a person decides 'Oh I want to join XX Bank,' they have a £50 referral bonus? ' Oh look Skarjo banks with them, I'll PM him and see if he wants to refer me.
Also, if someone does achieve a successful referral, could you maybe tell us in the thread? This way people won't always get referrals from the person at the top of the list etc. Of course it's down to the person who sends the initial PM to choose who they want to have as their referrer, but the fairer the better in my opinion.
I'll get the ball rolling then , I have an account with Nationwide, that if someone want's to join they'd receive £100. I also bank with Starling that do referrals (not sure what the bonus' are yet) and I have peer to peer lending with Zopa and RateSetter.
