I only played the 2nd a few times, being a playstation exclusive I never got to play it until it was released on the cube. By then it looked god awful compared to remake.

Im looking forward to it, they can release it at £50 and ill still buy it :fp: Would love a nemesis remake as well.

So you didn't get A ranks on all four scenarios and beat the 4th Survivor mini game? That's... that's very disappointing, glowy.

In RE0, you have to find and mix chemicals to charge the battery that you also have to find, so that you can power the forklift and use both characters in tandem to reach the ledge, to find the key and open the door.

Probably not its finest hour - I always wondered why they didn't just use the bloody hookshot!

A Nemesis remake would be amazing. They could do so much with the concept of Nemesis with more powerful hardware, especially when he is chasing you.

I'm hoping they can at least some good stuff with Mr. X.

I still really like the re2 mechanic where the things you do in scenario A affect scenario B. Hopefully they can flesh that out a bit more.

Nemesis would indeed be awesome... but wouldn't you rather they made new games? I'm perfectly happy for Capcom to remake the entire series - including CV!

Capcom are gonna remake and re-release games until the cows come home - I'd like them to remake the survival horror Resi games more than another Street Fighter or Mega Man anniversary collection because they deserve the chance to make use of far superior hardware to hook up a new generation of gamers. Like TAP says, can you imagine what they can do with the Nemesis using XBone/PS4 era tech?

Despite his appearances being entirely scripted RE3 did a really good job of making you feel the Nemesis could turn up at moment but imagine something like Alien Isolation where a Nemesis actually could turn up at any moment and I think you'll have something interesting albeit potentially frustrating.

Nemesis with Michael Myers (the halloween guy, not the Austin Powers git) powers of suddenly in a different place and surprise you out of nowhere?

Unless the aftermath of his sudden appearance remains (he can tank himself through walls.) then...

...oh what's the point. Crapcom would probably strawberry float it up.

Completely random nemesis would be gooseberry fool, especially if it arrived when youve got no ammo :dread: The beauty of Alien was that was your only main worry, thats not the case in RE

Anyway, I fired up the PS3 last night and carry on playing where I left RE4 last time.

My god. The controls didn't click straight away. It took a half hour to get used to the controls.

I didn't necessarily say it would make for a good game. It was just an idea that's been milling round my head since playing Isolation a year or two back. I will add however that Dino Crisis had some random enemy encounters and that worked pretty well.

They could easily include many more pre-set destructible areas - then you'd never know which ones he'd pop out of.

Did anyone ever stop to fight him instead of running away? You'd get cool power ups, the ultimate one was, I think, a pack that held up to four first-aid sprays in one slot - was there anything after that?

It was annoying, because sometimes you'd beat him and get nothing - you had to know where and when to bother...
