Having rebought RE4 on LIVE for the lovely price of £7.50, I am currently experiencing how good a game it is, and how bad it makes 5&6 look

It's more RE than I gave it credit for, the sounds, the little bits dropped in the game it may not play like RE but it's a better game than I gave it credit for, so shinji I apologise.

So, lets all discuss the greatest videogame series ever, instead of clogging up the RE6 thread, and one of the greatest plots too

I still rate Remake as the greatest one ive ever played.

REmake is the, like brer says the pinnacle of survival horror everything about it is amazing, how it looks so good still is beyond me, but it's a credit to mikami and his team.

My thoughts about 2 are we'll known so we will stop there

Loved 3 much more varied locations, added features like the 180 turn walking up steps instead of the loading screen, and lots lots more action.

4 is just a good game, install stand by my comment that it's not as RE as the other 3 but after playing it today it's clear it's more RE than 5 or 6 will ever be. Ad it makes 6 looks strawberry floating atrocious.

CV was fun, bit of a departure from the other games, much bigger but less scary and the real time environments kind of ruined it.

I really wish more people had the chance to play Revelations. It's the best one since Resi 4, an almost perfect mix of old and new-style Resi and the online co-op was excellent. Some really good characters too, especially Parker
