I've had jacket potatoes at concessions and food vans but I couldn't tell you the brand names. Certainly didn't cost me £7 though!

I use to go to a potato place in Clapham but it closed down years ago. It got replaced by a fried chicken shop.

As I said to my mum yesterday, "that shop you forgot existed no longer does".

I've only seen one and that was in st David's centre in Cardiff. I remember remarking on what a stupid idea it was to have a shop that big for such a crap product.

I'm sure there was one at Waverley Station or thereabouts. Only one I've seen in my life.

There was one at Dalton Park (retail park in East Durham) if memory serves.

There was one in Cabot Circus in Bristol. I’ve never eaten there though.

Ah yes, i know where you mean.

I know there was one in Sheffield when I was a kid, used to go past it on the way to my grandads.

Quite liked a spud u like. It never seemed like like that bad value, was a good option for little in when we went to blue water.

Another store - Jack Wills? - I haven't heard of.

Ugh, Jack Wills seemed to be the de-facto uniform for students and people in their early twenties for quite a while.

Another one of those brands that thinks a "design" is just putting the name or initials of your brand on an otherwise plain and dull item of clothing.

Just been on Spudulike's website...£5-£8 for a baked potato? :dread:

No real surprise that they've struggled.

I've seen Jack Wills shops - there's one on my local high street - but I've never been in.
Always seemed like it was aimed at people in their early 20s, and looks overpriced like a lot of clothes shops: £30 for a t-shirt, £65 for a jumper, etc.

Jack Wills is massively overpriced for a fairly basic range of clothing. Nothing special about them whatever, simple hoodie with the letters JW on.

"That'll be £65 please."

Or a plain t-shirt with the same JW letters on for (only) £25.
