good/bad music controversy

So we need to get some online games played regulary! I can't game often anymore though :( The GRcade friend tag is slowly filling up with members (19 with 18 pending, can't invite anymore until some more people accept/deny requests), so it should prove more useful if you're playing Rock Band and want to play a few quick songs with other members.

I didn't realise we had so many forumites with the game(s) I thought maybe 10-12 members, but it looks like 60+!

No, they should be free. We've already paid for the exports and those songs should have been included.

Are we getting free songs?

I wish they'd stop putting the Ramones in these games. It's not that I don't like their music, but it's so brain-numbingly boring. It's just:

chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug I WANNA BE SEDATED chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug I WANNA BE SEDATED.

Awful.

Especially on Expert Pro Bass, where for some reason even though I can hear that I'm playing the notes in time (because let's face it, you'd have to be utterly useless to not be able to hit straight notes in time) it decides to lose my combo every few chugs :x

EDIT: And why do they tab using those stupid arpeggio sections on the bass? Basses don't use chords (mostly)!

So, can you import RB:AC/DC into RB3 from the disc (360)?

And, in a follow up question, are the AC/DC songs worth the fiver that it would currently cost at play?

I've had RB3 for a month now and still not had time to play it. :fp:

The AC/DC tracks can be transferred and they are worth a fiver if you like the band.

Who doesn't like AC/DC? Even in small, occasional doses. I think it's an impossibility.

I'm sure there are a few haters on here. I remember some moaning about the band when it first came out. I love AC/DC and they are still some of my most played tracks on the game.

The AC/DC disc has what? 18 songs? Normally £5 worth of DLC will get you 5 songs...

You should be able to eBay the disc after you've copied the songs too and make most of that £5 back! The export is free, you just need the manual code from all new copies of the game.

DEAL REMINDER: LAST DAYs TO BUY 10 SONGS GET 1 FREE (XBOX LIVE REWARDS MEMBERS)

Hopefully we can all agree that Let There Be Rock is a flipping boring song for everyone involved, right?

The worst part of the AC/DC pack is that they are all long songs so they all seem to end with lengthy um freestyle ( I think thats what they're labelled) sections which aren't that fun.
