I have to say Freebird was all kind of awesome last night with me on drums, BIDO on bass and his mate jumping all over the place

Yeah, two small tweaks I'll make the new pedal setup before next month will be the connector positioning and putting a mat down for it to velcro-grip to

Other than that all feedback I had on the new RCL Bass Pedal was good, including hitting the Double-Bass taps on Panic Attack.

I myself will never attempt to sing 'Pantera - Walk' again. Ever, ever, ever again.

Freebird was great, it may well go up as a video if i can clip the two accidental pauses out. Or I may just leave them in there. Accidents happen. Glad you had a good time, hope to see you at the next one: May 26th... Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Pub!

I think we got some videos this time so you might able to cover your pauses with bits from that. No doubt they'll end up on YouTube or Facebook when they go online.

I'm happy to have Freebird up as I think I will mostly be out of sight I don't know what the 2 or 3 vocalists were doing out the corner of my eye.

Weekly DLC Previews On the Harmonix Livestream!!!

Hey gang,

Do you like DLC? Do you like seeing DLC charts before you decide to purchase? Do you like getting some assorted trivia, game play notes and pro tips from HMX devs? Then you should definitely keep an eye on the Harmonix Livestream, because we're planning to make DLC previews a more regular feature!

We've had tremendously positive responses to our past livestreams, and the forum community has always had an interest in previewing DLC before release, so we're aiming to host these mini livestreams on a weekly basis to help keep the core more informed / entertained. Here are the who, what, when, where and why:


WHO: The jokers in the Harmonix Community Team! Plus members of our Audio and QA teams.

WHAT: A short weekly livestream designed to preview the next DLC release.

WHEN: Mondays at 6pm EST.

WHERE: On the Official Harmonix Livestream channel on Twitch.TV.

WHY: So the community can preview charts before release, gain a greater understanding of the tracks / DLC process and hopefully laugh / love a little but along the way.


We'll keep this thread open to allow for discussion, feedback and suggestions / requests for future content. All other chatter related to the DLC specifics can get posted in the official weekly DLC discussion thread.

Everyone is welcome at RCL... friendships are forged, bands are formed, riffs occur, lead singers have queeny strops, fire everyone, then grow fat, old and ginger. Wait, no that's Axl Rose. Sorry. Seriously, you should come along. Make sure you come up to the fat bloke with a ponytail (that's me) and let him know you're from Grcade, then I can point out other Grcade members that I know of as they arrive.

Night 8 was a blast. There will be pictures and videos, but they may be delayed by a few weeks. Eva and myself are heading stateside tomorrow due to a family emergency, and we won't be back until the 12th May. But when we do get back i'll get to editing and we should have a few videos to go up.

For those that would like to plan a trip, we never officially announce the dates too far in advance... HOWEVER it is pretty much always last weekend of the month. The one exception will be July. There will be no public RCL in July.
