I've just seen all the top tens for the vocal leaderboards in Rock Band, and I am indeed about six or seven songs shy of being able to make it for the main vocal one. So if anyone has any of the songs I'm missing and is brave enough to let me sign into their account on my XBox for a few hours, hit me up.

But! It *is* possible for me to get as high as second on the crimson star leaderboard! So I guess we go again...

Oh my word yes, We'll whack Buff up on a train and have a right old time of it. I don't think I've ever had a full band session in one room, that'd be bloody lovely

I've been doing a bit of experimenting on what can and can't be done with accounts. So far I've been able to download songs from three different accounts that have logged in to my XBox Series X. Buff has been unable to download the songs owned by the third account, but as long as the account is "active" on my XBox, i.e. has been signed in before, it looks as though anything can be downloaded and used by any other account on the local console(I was able to load up Gay Bar, which is delisted and belongs to the third account, using a dupe account that isn't linked to any of the other three).

With that in mind I'm starting to near 2,000 songs in the ol' library and I'm happy if any of this thread's regulars(i.e. Bido and Frank) ever want to try logging me in to their XBox and smash out a spotlight or anything. Just don't set your XBox as my main account please.

We’re back for a new season! The tunes this week have a very punk/pop-punk vibe. I forgot the spotlights but I think me & Ben own one, will that be enough in week 1?

Seems to be taking my xbox about half an hour of plugging and unplugging and changing USB sockets before it actually recognises my drumkit, so I've just gone back to Rock Band 3. I think I've lost my save on the 360, though

Kinda sad that RB3 looks better than RB4. I haven't noticed any of my band walk straight through their speaker stacks yet. Tempted to go all the way back to Rock Band 1 just to play Enter Sandman again

BID0, did you say it was a reasonably easy fix to solder the legacy adapter? I might need to risk it at some point, if if gets any worse Are there any forums out there I should be reading up on?

I've never opened up my legacy adapters but the USB socket will probably be mounted on the board by 4 soldered pins. I've soldered them before for work and it's not so bad, you'll probably find you'll just need to heat each pin to melt and reset the solder that is already there.

I imagine someone somewhere has put pictures up of a repair, but if that's not the case you can dump some photos here or twitter once you've opened it up and I can help point you in the right direction.

I’ll be getting the axe back out this week. Not that familiar with Modest Mouse apart from Float On (on RB…2?) and I bought their record which had Dashboard on it (tune and a half, album less so).

They’re quite inaccessible at the best of times, but We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank isn’t their best album. I’d probably look at Lonesome Crowded West or The Moon and Antarctica before it.

I realise this is a weird question but does anyone know if my RB3 keyboard will work as a guitar if I set it up with the RB4 wireless adaptor? I've got one, one strawberry floating achievement that I can't get because I only have one wireless guitar and one wireless drumkit, and the keyboard would help me get it.
