The Rock Band Thread vol.2: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Took a week off to let the big leagues zoom off into the distance to make subsequent weeks a bit easier, but I’ll be putting some numbers down this weekend.

I'll pop on if I can, mate.

Will be getting the scythe out at the end of the week to trim the usual inactives.

I can't see myself being super active this season, but please don't chop me off. I just don't have the enthusiasm to play at the moment for various reasons, but it will come back in time I think.

Our boy Kronic put in 3 banging spotlight drum scores this week.

I've just finished the last song on my list - The End of the Game by Weezer(which I thought was appropriate). So beyond the weekly DLC which everyone will add to their stats, my standings are as follows for vocals:

Disc songs score: 11,750,290 (18th)
All songs score: 578,937,398 (9th)
Gold Star Songs: 2871 (13th)
Expert Full Combos: 2871 (13th)

Now I guess I'll work on Crimson Stars, as there's nothing left to do in the main game. It's a little bit frustrating - I can see people above me on the leaderboards who are clearly worse players, but because they had the foresight/funds to grab stuff as it was being delisted, they'll always be ahead of me. :dread:

Those are some immense placements! You must have put in quite a few hours

I think RB3 was probably my best, I spent a few years playing RB as my only game and I'd work through playing each song that I owned at the time.

Huh, got a new blood here doing the business on spotlight scores this week. I’ll try and reciprocate by playing to get us to our ceiling.

Here fair play to whoever's doing our recruitment right now(Buff?) - we're top of the spotlight leaderboard with less than twelve hours to go.

We got promoted this week. If the new guy, Kronic and Cora put spotlights in, then maybe we’re smelling blood(stone) for once.

Well he’s a little bit hit and miss, but the new blood is a weekly lock for spotlight guitar and bass scores for all 3 tracks. I don’t think he/she is 1% material but can seemingly always 5 star stuff on expert, which you can’t argue with! I play hard bass, or expert on zero/one pip difficulty songs.

To answer your earlier question, we’re not in the last week yet so I dunno how active I should be.

Are we in diamond? Top 20% go up to Bloodstone in second last week so it's worth putting a shift in.

May be an easyish one to progress from. I tend to find pop songs easy to get LP on as not many people play them

The only hurdle for me is how much pop I’ve got on my hard drive. Doubt it’s much.
