You've got a few more now as well. Have a wee look. :slol:

I'll be honest, my aim for this week is to get through my/our entire library once because we'll need a whopping lot of XP and LP, and I reckon I can get us over 2m LP from doing that. It's all for nothing though, if we can't get decent scores put in for the drums on Comfort Eagle and the guitar and bass on Monkey Wrench. We physically can't get promoted with the score we've got. My hands are strawberry floated so I can't do them I'm afraid.

I'll put in the guitar/bass scores for Monkey Wrench tomorrow. Might buy Comfort Eagle if it looks likely that it'd push us over the line!

It would certainly be a great boost. We probably need the overall spotlight score to be about 70-80% on the leaderboard, then me, Buff and anyone who has a few spare hours can focus on just smashing out XP to get that as high as possible.

Jumped back on before bed there and thought for a laugh I'd download and try In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida...whoops!

EDIT: It's doing that thing where it gives you the points for the last song you did, so I got 500XP for In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, then 2739XP for Shipping Up To Boston.

85% and over goes up, so if we got our spotlight at about 80% average that would be excellent. I’ll next be playing on Monday I think.

That drum score for Comfort Eagle could rocket us up the leagues a bit here. Individually our lowest scoring spotlight is 72%, which is counteracted by some higher scores on drums and bass! Next thing to smash out is XP then, just need to batter out as many songs as we can collectively until Tuesday night.

EDIT: The top of the LP leaderboard is...strawberry float. To go up five more places, we'd need 25 first place finishes. It's about to get very difficult.

It's just taken me about 15 minutes to get my drum adapter working wtf :dread: Praying that doesn't mean it's on the way out! Hope it was just a bit of a hiccup with the xbox...

I'm pretty good with soldering irons and electronics so if it does get a bit dodgy I can probably fit it for you. It's likely the USB connector or cable as they get the most wear

There's no danger of us going up to Bloodstone looking at what some of the teams above us got. Our spotlight score was quality and didn't even get us into the top half.

On the plus side, I think I may have been the first to path one of this week's DLC tracks for vocals best score, which is cool!

Will it theoretically be a bit easier this week?

If anything it'll be more difficult, as we have another 60-odd bands to compete with and only 20 of the bands above us promoted, and there'll be a smaller percentage of promotions to accommodate that. We'll see how we go though, if we can put in a slamming spotlight score and get a good wedge of XP you never know.

I'm not sure what week we are up to now, but usually the 7th week is easiest to get to bloodstone. You have a lot of teams going up (plus the teams that are consistently the most active have been promoted in the previous few weeks) and you avoid the final week rush of week 8.

I think it’s week 7 now? I’d check but the app is still cattle trucked.

It is week 7, I got the app working. Did most of my library, the Aerosmith spotlight is too hard, I even failed out of it.

Servers are strawberry floated now though.

It's not logging new scores on any songs, which is very frustrating as I FCed one of the Bob Marley efforts earlier for the first time.

Absolute strawberry floating banger coming out on DLC to round out the season - Sell Out by Reel Big Fish. Great, great ska-punk song from the late '90s.

Haven't been this excited since Superman came out earlier in the year.

Got this week's DLC downloaded and Sell Out is insanely tough to get 100% on, I forgot how bloody tough ska stuff can be. But it's so much fun, like a nostalgia injection. Genuinely think this is the most enthusiastic I've been about a DLC track in years.

It’s hard to play, for sure.
We need a big push from everybody if we want bloodstone, or we can still be proud of being in 2nd tier. I’ll be knocking some tunes out I think.

I'm away this weekend but I'll put in what I can on Monday and Tuesday. Will also grab the Slack Babbath pack for us to have run through so we've got War Pigs, Buff.
