Will your LP total change as more people rank on a song or if you rank 1st on a song purely because no-one else has played it yet, will you keep that 10,000LP?

I've been trying to throw scores at songs where I can see I can get into the top 10 immediately, but I'm not sure if getting in early is worth it or not

It drops down as and when people score above you on a song. So if you get 10,000LP, then someone else betters your score, it'll drop to 9,500LP.

I find it's best if you want to build LP quickly to do short songs and ones that not a lot of people own. It's XP we're usually short on though, so the more the better!

This week's DLC is honking. A list of the top 100 selling RBN songs that haven't yet made the jump has been released, so expect to see at least a few of the following pop up over the next few months:

I'd be pretty pleased with Blue (Da Ba Dee) coming back on there as it would complete my RB3-era song library(other than delisted stuff from RB1/2). Would also quite enjoy the Ultimate Showdown for the retro fun. Movies is also decent, then the rest are fairly awful.

Is that top 100 list based on X360 sales? Or across all consoles?

I'm surprised more of the songs I bought aren't in there. Blue (Da Ba Dee) being the only remaining one on the list that I bought previously.

I think it's an overall sales list, I took it from the Reddit. Genuinely surprised that Blue (Da Ba Dee) was so high on the list, I didn't think it was that popular!

Yeh it was pretty big seller. At the time it was the only dance track on Rock Band outside of the chemical brothers. And because it did so well on Xbox it was ported to the PS3 (playstation only got the top selling RBN)

There was also a second track “Move Your Body” on RBN but I guess that’s just outside of the top 100. The fact we haven’t seen them rereleased I think means there’s probably a licence issue and we will never get them in RB4

It might actually be that they've simply licensed out tracks by the chunk based on popular sellers. A Day to Remember, Against Me!, Amberian Dawn and Between the Buried and Me all have about ten songs each so I suspect they've simply licensed all of those tracks out, drip fed them back out to us, and will go back and license the next lot as and when they need to.

And that'll be shortly, most likely, because they've used up almost all of the ADTR and this week's DLC is the last of the BtBaM from RBN. So fingers crossed!

Hopefully! My pessimistic side uses that logic in reverse though says they could have licenced the two Eiffel 65 tracks they had as it's two songs for one band

I think it was a big jump between top 70% and top 90% of teams. It was about double our XP and LP score required to reach 90%+ when I looked on Sunday morning - at which point we were in the top 70%.

I'll make you team leader tonight if I get online and I'll kick out those new people who didn't add much as well as the non players.

The DLC for me this season hasn't been my thing so I don't think there was a single week that I had all 3 songs

I don't blame you, it's easily been the worst season yet as far as I can see. A mix of hokey old RBN crap and fairly rubbish new stuff. This was the first time I picked up the season pass and I hugely regret it - would definitely think twice about buying another if I wasn't on a quest to get to 2,000 FCs.

Sort of related question - does anyone use the Rock Band database to keep track of their songs? I noticed they stopped updating it about six months ago and wondered if there was a reason for that. Anyone know?

EDIT: Fun and stupid stat I just figured out - almost 2% of all songs available in Rock Band feature Billie Joe Armstrong. Would love to know what it is for Dave Grohl.
