So far the soundtrack sits at 60+ songs, it's possible that could grow to over 70 with licencing deals still being made.

These are screenshots taken from a pulled video on YouTube (during a I Believe In A Thing Called Love play through), looks like the rumoured freestyle bass and guitar sections...

Not been following this at all, but I would definitely consider returning to RB.

The only thing that's putting me off is that I've moved from 360 to PS4 this gen. Which means that my controllers won't work and I am extremely doubtful I'll be able to get all my DLC back. I really don't know if I can justify getting more plastic instruments. :(

By the time it comes out it'll probably just be cheaper to buy an Xbox One.

I'm buying my next gen console (I had a 360) on the back of this game. I have like 800 DLC songs so it'd be stupid not to. Instrument compatibility is a nice bonus but I was just gonna get a new Band In A Box set for some delicious RB4 drums yaaaaas.

Who will join me in Bant of Brothers comeback tour? Obviously I will be the band leader 8-) Frank? Ben? Pred? Anny? Parkreiner? Jebus? Who else can rock out with the best of 'em?

If you're on the XBone then hell to the yes, Buffster.

This, basically. I have over 600 songs to come across and I'll probably pick up RB: Green Day before it runs out of its five year period as well.

I'm not sure yet. My current choice in console is a big sticking point. As much as I loved playing Rock Band I don't know if it's worth buying an Xbone for this one game.

That's how I feel too. I dunno, this is going to be tough. I don't want to buy a Bone but I don't want to buy all new controllers and old DLC. I might just stick with RB3 if I can resist the hype.

PostRe: The Rock Band Thread II - E3 2015: Rock Band 4 Bingo [PS4/X1]
by BID0 » Wed Jun 10, 2015 10:20 am

Harmonix posted this article on their Facebook page...

E3 2015: Rock Band 4 Bingo
Each song in Rock Band 4 has survived the exhausting process of parsing community requests, personal biases, and legal red tape, all in the pursuit of a top-tier soundtrack. We here at GameSided are committed to uncovering the specifics of this super-secret song selection formula in order to predict Rock Band 4’s setlist.

We began our research by carefully examining the six already-announced songs and then began the arduous task of selecting specific song variables to which we committed ourselves. Through this process of careful observations, historical analysis, predictive thinking, and talentless guesswork, we’ve compiled a selection of “scientific song selection spreadsheets”, also known as Bingo cards.

At the end of our research, our three song scientists arrived at three separate conclusions. We’ll be watching and waiting for Harmonix to reveal additional songs, or possibly the entire Rock Band 4 setlist during E3 2015. When the dust settles, we’ll see if any of our scientists managed to uncover the Harmonix formula.

Yours truly (@PsycoRevolution), is predicting a beefy mix of contemporary alternative bands and classic rock, topped off with a dollop of modern pop.

Image

Our fearless leader, Daniel George (@ItsDanielGeorge), is predicting an eclectic selection of songs with a few daring grabs. (Editor’s Note: I’m so convinced about my “The Black Keys” pick that I’m calling my shot with the song “Fever”)

Image

Our sports guru, Fraser G. (@_Just1MoreGame), is predicting a lot of familiar faces will return for Rock Band 4.

Whose card do you think has the best chance of winning? Let us know in the comments below! You should also share your Rock Band 4 song guesses by tweeting to @GamesidedDotCom using the hashtag #rb4bingo.

I think Fraser G has the best chance of winning but I'd like the first guy to nail it. Would love a bit of Arcade Fire in Rock Band.

Why the strawberry float is that so much higher than the original Rock Band deal? I bought the Band In A Box and game for £134.98 back in 2008. Just checked the original email!
