I added the guitarist on XBL so I could have a look at his G’s for Rock Band. The bad news is that it looks like he’s just bought it, good news is that all of the G’s for playing at high difficulty are already unlocked, he’s unlocked the ‘skill level at 900’ one already.

Well the game can’t find him when I go to search in the ‘friends’ bit Guess it’s up them to join themselves.

Yeh the game is a bit gooseberry fool with the searching, I know I could never find Frank I think it was either by friends list of a search but you guys I could. They should be able to search and join us though.

Let’s see how we do this season with a couple of new faces in the team. I’m sceptical but I hope we can get to...one off Bloodstone, whatever that’s called.

We'll get to Diamond fairly easily, the last step is just a massive one. You get promoted from bronze in week one if you play a single song at this point, I think.

I don’t usually give a toss about spotlight tunes but the quite frankly excellent live version of Thin Lizzy’s ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ is there. Ben I own it if you fancy wrapping your pipes around it.

Aye, I’ll start contributing properly now we’re a bit further into the season and won’t get promoted just for getting one spotlight score.

Yeh sorry about that, I didn't realise we were missing a drum score for Thin Lizzy until late and I had no way of getting my drums out of storage and playing at that time

At least next week will be a breeze... hopefully

Frank is very good, he just doesn't have the kind of DLC they're using for the weekly challenge, and I don't always blame him.

Ha, I’m keeping it on the Xbox One for now, it’ll take forever to download all the songs and I dunno if it’ll keep all my scores and stuff on the Series X.

Yeh all your scores are linked to your save (which is saved in the cloud). Any console you log in to and start up Rock Band 4 it will download your save and all your scores. Some might not show if that particular console doesn't have the song, but your score will still be in your save and appear if that song is added to that consoles library or you change to another console with that song on it.

If you set your Xbox One to be able to share downloads on the network, you can copy them directly to your Series and it'll be a lot faster. Just make sure you sign in as Buff and set your Series as his new home console!

I think it took about 5-6 hours to copy my games and DLC across and all be picked up on the new console. The internal drive is a lot quicker so there's less time indexing files compared to the Xbox One

Transferring Data and Games via Network Transfer
If both of your Xbox devices are on the same network, you can use the Network Transfer option to copy games and data between the two devices.

This is much faster than redownloading the game or transferring it via External Storage.

Turn on the Xbox One and press the Xbox button on your controller
Go to Profile & System
Under the Settings tab, Select System
Select Backup & Transfer
Select Allow Transfer
Leave the Xbox One in this state
Turn on the Xbox Series X/S
Navigate to Backup & Transfer
Your Xbox One should be listed under the Local Consoles
Select the games you want to copy and select the Copy Selected option
Make sure that the Series X/S console has enough space to accommodate that game
Select Copy
Your games and their data will now be copied to your new console.

You'll still have all the content untouched on your original Xbox too. So if things take a while or don't work then you can still use the old console.

I was tempted to buy the Thin Lizzy tune the other day, but I looked at the drum track and thought I'd be crap at it. Wish the Thin Lizzy pack would have had Whisky in the Jar in it, and I'd have snapped it up. Don't have *any* of the spotlight songs this week, as far as I can tell. Hope there's some good ones! Will try and put a decent amount of XP in this week, at least

The tune by Orion is absolute garbage and the drum part is a joke. So you’d probably love it, whhheeeyyyy!
