Holding X/Blue you can also filter by song length. I always do short songs first when we need LP to rack it up quickly (LP isn't affected by song length).
Kick me out actually, I haven't got Live at the moment and my life is extremely erractic. Old parents and being away from the Xbox is very common. I won't be offended.
Nirvana sublime cover of "The man who sold the world" is out this week! which is strawberry floating amazing. I was thinking about wanting this song on RB last week.....

I was always a fan of that method, and I've used it tonight to rack up a good early LP score, quickly because sub-three-minute songs make up almost a third of this week's setlist. This should also give you and anyone else a good boost to XP should you wish to have a wee session.
There are only 96 songs all in this week AFAIK, possibly one or two more that I don't have access to. This generally means it's a bit harder to rack up ridiculous XP and LP scores, and it means we *might* have a chance at putting in a Bloodstone charge if we go all in on it. Anyone with me?
Cheers for jumping on and doing a few of the longer songs man, helps me get an XP boost(another 2,500 for CCR!) as well when I do them later. We're sixth for LP just now - we will *absolutely* need someone to put in a good to great score for every one of the spotlights. It doesn't look like they're too difficult but hopefully our man dzl comes through for us.

Don't worry about the LP, I'll sort us there. We need to grind a boatload of XP - probably 150,000 will be the threshold - so smash that out if you can. I'm most worried about the spotlights tbf.
Might even be worth trying to get an hour or two going for the social bonuses if anyone's free at any point for a MP sesh? Just quoting the three of you in here so you see the post.
I can't really MP at weekends as there's two of us and you can't double up on the same console and setting up two would be a faff
150,000XP at about 400-500XP per song is 300-375 plays. I could probably push it to 50 plays from me.
Kronic used to do gangbusters but I think they got burnt out from covering for us and then the other crews they joined. They may be able to be persuaded to spam drums this week if bloodstone is what we are all going for.
One of our crew has gone in and blasted out gold star string scores on all of the spotlights so we're just missing a set of drum scores. We're actually in the promotion places at the moment regardless, though it's a bit tight - those drum scores would probably put us in the top five for the week at the moment, then all it would be is making sure we don't lose a load of LP and keep grinding XP to keep up with the leaders.
The good thing about a small setlist week is that the LP is limited. Each band can max out at 20,000 per song, so the absolute maximum LP this week is 1,920,000 - I can get us the best part of half of that on my own(currently we're at 928,200). And we're second on that leaderboard at the moment, which is mental for a Bloodstone promotion week!
I've only got 11 more songs to do from the setlist, so can add about 100,000 LP and maybe 8-10,000XP before it starts degrading. I'll try and do a few on Brutal mode to keep getting bonus XP if I can, too.
I've played all the songs now, we've got over a million LP and anyone playing any song should get a 1.5x bonus on XP. If anything stops us going up it'll be lack of drum scores getting put in, I think. We're dropping down the spotlight leaderboard by the hour!
If I can find my dongle and drum kit I'll set mine up and smash the two easier spotlights out. Haven't played drums in nearly ten years but it can't be that hard, right?
