I can't play with randomers now, too frustrating, especially in a beta.

strawberry floating boats with long range that can attack my mines and stop me building a dock :x

Learn to counter attack. If you counter rush them, they won't get to the point of being able to do that. You need to go learn yourself up on some tactics.

It's not rushing, I get an army and what not but they take out the mines so I'm left with nothing to expand with, anything I send out to take more mines gets destroyed.

A fully realised online battlefield with is updated in realtime. Covering the whole of the European theatre during WWII.
It updates the controlled territory on the hour. When the war is won by one side, it starts all over again. (Kind of like WWII online)

A fully blown, real time battlefield everyone partakes in at the same time (or 16-32 players) would be great.

I was thinking more along the lines of 1000's of players at any given time.
You could have Different servers like you do on MMORPG's, with a 1000 player capacity.

Then You could easily have full scale battlefront battles, Changing the tides of war.
You could even use CoH's supply line 'feature' so if Allied players are holding Carentan, but get surrounded by Axis players, they'd recieve no supplies from allied held territories.

See: LewisD's post. But replace Calliopes with Fallshirmjagers. The invincible SS-brainwashed ex-Jews turned into the most efficient killing machine known to man.

Anyone fancy having a game on Spring later, XTA though as it is more like the origional game compared to BA.

I think you can have up to 8 players, we could get some good games going.

Well I was considering viability. How could you portion out areas of land to each commander? And their resources? And then co-ordination on each side. And so on and so forth.

How would 500 man teams work? Would they all hold a front line, or are some sitting around back in reserve?

There was a game whose name escapes me where you specialised in an area and had to work with others to build a complete army to best the enemy doing the same. That on a massive scale could work.

I would but my PC is not much more powerful than a Mesopotamian abacus from 2700 BC.

How do you feel about 9PM? Even if it turns out only us are about, I can teach you the basics of the game atleast. I've been playing this game on and off for about the origional release date.

Arm gattling cannons FTW!

I suck at CoH :(

I'm stuck on what I think is about the third mission, where the Panzers roll in and tear you apart on the road.

Best weapon for destroying the RTS hating infidels

I'm not exactly a RTS loving guy as I suck at them, so maybe this question isn't one I can answer...
Though Dwarves carrying satchel charges could work.

Are TBS games allowed here? I like RTS as much as the next person but we shouldn't leave out TBS games like Jagged Alliance, X-COM, Advance Wars, and Civ.
